Otto is an Atlantic Canadian company, and we know weather on the east coast can be wild. Come rain or snow, Otto is committed to servicing your vehicle. In extreme weather conditions that might impact safety, we proactively reach out to reschedule appointments, ensuring your safety and convenience.

Life is busy - and we understand plans change. You can reschedule or cancel your appointment by giving us at least 24 hours notice. Please note that cancellations without adequate notice may incur a fee of $45+HST. This policy helps us maintain service quality and optimize scheduling. If you have questions, our customer service team is always here to help.

At Otto, we strive to be punctual for your convenience. Our drivers will contact you with an estimated time of arrival before your appointment. You will need to greet the technician before the service is performed, and complete payment at the end of the service.

Yes, Otto can perform its full range of service no matter where your car is parked in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

At Otto we take extra steps to ensure a perfect fit. We clean each stud to remove rust and clean both the hub and wheel mounting surfaces to prevent corrosion from affecting the fit. We also use a two-step torque process. First, we hand-torque the wheels with the vehicle just touching the ground, then we do a final torque check before fully completing the service.
If you would like an additional torque check after 50-100km of driving, most shops offer this free of charge.

Yes, the technician will reset the tire sensors before completing the service as long as the set being installed has sensors.

Visit our Contact page and START A CONVERSATION to send us a digital copy of the printed ad, or a screenshot (including the URL) of the website showing the lower-priced quote from the tire dealer (see below eligible dealer criteria). You can also visit us at the Dartmouth or Bayers Lake CAA branches.
We will confirm the tires are identical (size, age, product number) and in stock at the competitor location. We will then provide an updated quote for you to review.
If you submit a lower-priced quote within 30 days after purchase, and it meets the Price Match criteria, you will be reimbursed by the method of the original payment.
Detailing FAQs

Yes, when booking two vehicles at the same location, you save an additional $25. If there are two time slots available on the same day, you can go ahead and schedule in both vehicles through our website. Alternatively, feel free to submit a work request - we’re happy to coordinate a time that works best.

You can gift any of our detailing packages by submitting a work request and we’ll help set everything up.

There is a charge starting from $35 if the technicians need additional time. All costs will be presented to you before the detailing service begins.

If there’s enough room to safely open all doors and work around the vehicle, we can complete a full interior detail inside a parking garage. If space is limited, we’re happy to complete the service in a nearby outdoor location.

If you would like to keep them installed, we can vacuum and clean around the child seats. If you would prefer a more thorough clean, we can assist with removing the seats to access the area underneath. However, we will not be responsible for reinstalling the child seats after the service.

For interior detailing, we may be able to proceed with the scheduled appointment. However, for exterior detailing, we may need to reschedule if the weather conditions prevent us from performing a quality service. We’ll stay in touch if any changes are needed.

Our fully electric truck provides power to all of our tools, and we bring our own water supply - no hookups or hassle required.

We offer a 10% discount for Uber drivers, taxis, and other rideshare or vehicle-sharing operators like Turo. Let us know at the time of booking and we’ll apply the discount.
If you manage a fleet of vehicles, we also offer custom pricing plans tailored to your needs. Just submit a work request with your fleet details and we will work out a package that fits your needs.
